FINANCIAL POLICY 2025 

1. Payment. Students are expected to pay all applicable Course Fees, Personalized Training (PT) fees, and any other fees and costs associated with enrollment at the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies (“Institute”).

2. Course Fees. The Institute offers courses in in-person, and online format, during each spring and fall. Course Fees are determined based on whether the course will proceed in person, or online.

2.1 The Institute may, from time to time, amend its Course Fees. Students will be notified of any amendment to any Course Fee.

3. Minimum Enrollment Policy. If the number of Students enrolled in any in-person, or online course does not meet the Institute’s minimum enrollment policy of 8 or more Students per course, per course format, the Institute may cancel the course. Students who enrolled in the cancelled course will receive a refund of the applicable Course Fee.

4. Registration Policy. Students are responsible for keeping up-to-date on courses offered by the Institute and for timely registration of any course offered by the Institute.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy. Cancellation affects the Institute significantly, and the Institute upholds a strict cancellation policy for all courses offered at the Institute.

5.1 Cancellation of Enrollment after Acceptance. Students may withdraw from any course offered by the Institute at any time, subject to fees. Cancellation notices must be received 14 days in advance of the course starting date.

a. Students who provide a cancellation notice by the 14-day deadline will receive a full refund of the Course Fee, minus a $75.00 administrative cancellation fee.

b. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of any course start date.

5.2 Failure to Maintain Attendance. Students are expected to attend all classes for every course. No refunds will be given for missed classes for any given course.

a. Any Student who desires to retake any course, or who must retake a course to fulfill Certificate Program course requirement hours, is expected to pay the full cost of any course they retake.

b. There will be no refunds issued for any Certificate-seeking Student who fails to attend the required number of classes for any Course.

6. Personalized Training (PT) Fees. Students are expected to arrange payment and payment processing for PT hours with Institute Faculty.

6.1 Students are billed by Institute Faculty for PT hours according to the following fee schedule:

a. Individual PT: $150.00 per 1 hour.

b. Group PT: $150.00 per 2 hours.

6.2 Payment methods and processing procedures are determined by Institute Faculty. The Institute may, from time to time, amend PT fees. Students will be notified of changes to any PT Fee.

7. Graduation Fees. There are no fees associated with graduating from the Institute’s Certificate Program, or for receiving a Certificate in Gestalt psychotherapy.

8. Certificate Eligibility and Award Disclaimers.

8.1 Payment of any tuition fees, including Course Fees, PT Fees, any other fees and costs associated with enrollment, does not guarantee continued enrollment at the Institute or admission to the Institute’s Certificate Program. Continued enrollment at the Institute and admission to its Certificate Program is at the discretion of the Institute.

8.2 Payment of tuition fees, any tuition fees, including course fees, PT fees, and any other fees and costs associated with enrollment, does not guarantee Student’s receipt of a Certificate from the Institute’s Certificate Program. Certificates are awarded based on fulfillment of Certificate Program criteria and at the discretion of the Institute.

8.3 The Institute retains sole discretion to decline to award a Certificate to any Student with an outstanding balance owed to the Institute or any Institute Faculty.
